Hello!

My name is Emma Richardson, and I am a first-year graduate student at North Carolina State University pursuing a Professional Science Master’s degree in Microbial Biotechnology (MMB). With a strong foundation in microbiology and infectious disease, I have gained extensive hands-on experience in microbiology laboratories. As I continue through the MMB program, I am excited to pivot my microbiology background toward the biomanufacturing industry, where I hope to contribute to the development of advanced biologics and next-generation production platforms. I am eager to build a focused skillset that blends science, technology, and business, and I look forward to applying my expertise to impactful work within the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical fields.
